Al Sharpton makes me vote for Duncan Hunter Thank you AL!!! you are the best!!!

When Reverend Al Sharpton is getting the seat of host in Chris Mathews show, it explains a lot about the nature of Chris Mathews show.

Ok let me see :

Reverend Al Sharpton, the person who in front of the TV cameras declares that all Duke LaCrosse 3 players are GUILTY?

Al Sharpton who “ organized crowds of protestors, screaming about “bloodsucking Jews” and “Jew bastards” and threatening to “burn the building down.

Al Sharpton who “never apologized for his remarks against Pagones. “

Who, when “in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights section erupted after 7-year old Gavin Cato, a black child, was accidentally killed by an out-of-control car driven by a Hasidic Jew” organized angry demonstrations and challenged local Jews.

The guy who is in “1983 FBI surveillance video in which Sharpton was taped discussing a money-laundering scheme with mobster-turned-informant Michael Franzese, onetime captain for the Colombo crime family.”

so this anti-Semitic hatemongering criminally-connected guy is hosting Chris Mathews show?

Yes he is!!!

What it the most amusing part of all this circus, this anti-Semitic racist is using example of Coulter as personal attacker”? This goes beyond imaginable limits of common sense. I had a lot of personal discussions online during last days about “Coulter versus Edwards“ case and the general sentiment of those who are on the left is that Coulter is a hate-mongering personal attacker. What about Sharpton??? He made his name on spreading hate and left is OK with that and Chris Mathews is making him a host of this show? Actually this show deserves Al Sharpton as a host. I am just wondering who is the next in line to get a seat on the host chair in the Chris Mathews show? Osama bin Laden??

But I actually want to thank both Mathews and Al Sharpton for bringing to my attention a person for whom it is worth to vote. I mean Duncan Hunter. He was a terrific on the show and just started my research on him. Whom before this show I did not consider seriously to vote for. you see : never loose your optimism even from watching such show as Mathews/Sharpton show can be extracted some use

Duncan Hunter is a very good choice. I took a quiz on candidate’s views relating to my own and he came second, in between Tancredo and Brownback, also favorites of mine. None of them will win, so I support Fred Thompson who I agree with generally as well, but I may switch to Newt if he runs and would have liked Bill Frist best.

2008: Whoa! Someone is “on the left” just because they feel Ann Coulter is “a hate-mongering personal attacker” ?

That is sort of a dangerous conclusion to jump to!

It seems like you’re trying very hard to make some POINT (with Al Sharpton) instead of earnestly trying to get to the heart of an issue (Ann Coulter), and that’s sort of a problematic way to get to the next step.

    Best Wishes,

    Anna

  3. to Anna!
    hello again and welcome:)
“It seems like you’re trying very hard to make some POINT (with Al Sharpton) instead of earnestly trying to get to the heart of an issue (Ann Coulter)”
Could you please explain me how you can blame Coulter for anything if you are embracing Sharpton? Double standard?
“problematic way to get to the next step.”
what is the next step? my point is that sharpron is the host on the show were Coulter was ambushed and this makes me curious are you consider sharpton a ahetmonger or not?

  4. to mdvp!
    thank you for sharing
i do not know that much about Fred Thompson so far he sounds good but i have to do more research ,
“I support Fred Thompson who I agree with generally as well, but I may switch to Newt”
so it looks like your choice is between two candidates which did announce that they are running yet?
what are they thinking about ? they should make up their minds by now do not you think so?

    to Anna:

For your information: the difference between “on the left” and the rest of Americans.

    “On the left”
    — it is OK if the member of your party is an ex-KKK such as Senator Byrd from Virginia
    — it is OK for your activists such as Jesse Jackson and Harry Belafonte to engage in race-baiting against black Republicans. Hell, Belafonte called Rice a “house slave”!

The point is not that Ann Coulter made a stupid comment. The point is that if she would be a Democrat making a comment about Cheney’s lesbian daughter, the same people who criticize her now would be completely silent!

No, there is still a long time before they need to announce. This year seems to have started early in terms of elections. Some people may decide to be more orthodox in terms of running. If neither of them run, I would probably support Hunter or Brownback.

  7. Thank you for clarifications mdvp
2008 will be my first time voting for president 9 i naturalized as a citizen in 2005) so your expert opinion is greatly appreciated
i just nervous because i see no winnable candidates among those for whom i would be interested to vote and who already declared that they are running
i hope to find more info on your blog ( i am one of your permanent readers:))

Another jump! Who’s embracing Al Sharpton?

    “what is the next step?”

    Progress?

Gee thanks, but I’m not really so interested in your arbitrary designations, however, I do appreciate your attempt to get me up to speed as far as the “on the left” folk.

I’m sort of sick to death of this silly polarization.

    * 2008: Best of luck to you. I’m so glad that you’re doing your research for this next election. May you find a candidate that inspires you.

    * Happy 4th of July, my fellow Americans.

  9. Hello again Anna! we are always welcome!!!Happy 4th of July, to you!!!
“I’m so glad that you’re doing your research for this next election. May you find a candidate that inspires you.”
i would appreciate yore input as well if you have anything to tell what you think will help me to find a right candidate
“I’m sort of sick to death of this silly polarization.”
me too, i agree with you on that Ihope you are sick as well when people are using “right wing” label as well? i hope you never use it 🙂
Polarization is huge and i feel that people are tired of it .this is why i was so impressed with Liberman success and with excitement which follows gossips that Bloomberg is running. It does not mean necessarily that i like those candidates per se but it shows a cry for 3rd party candidates. i personally would be more like to see a strong libertarian candidate.

i guess this part was brought for same reasons i broght my Sharpton’s examples:it shows a double standard amoung democrats. One standard for Belafonte and Sharpton another for Coulter .If I ma missing anything then tell what i am missing .I am just trying to understand why Coulter outraged you so much when you are so tolerant to Sharpton and Belafonte
thank you for your input 🙂

    to Anna :

“but I’m not really so interested in your arbitrary designations”
Please do not switch the subject — I was not talking about labels, I was talking about the things which Democrats, left – whatever – say and get away with, while at the same time Conservatives get crucified publicly for the very same thing.

Let us try it from another angle:
Imagine that Chris Matthews tried to pull the same ambush on Al Gore, by having some physics Professor shred Gore to bits on TV. Are you honestly telling me that Matthews would not instantly become the target of enormous public outrage?

“I’m sort of sick to death of this silly polarization.”
Me too, welcome to the club 🙂

    Happy Independence Day,

  11. Duncan Hunter still has my vote!

  12. I hear you Kelly! I think I would for him. He is such a decent man , and it is a pity that he did not manage to articulate his campaign.
who is your favorite from those who are running?
