polls: Obama Loses 2/3rds Of His Lead In One Week

interesting article : Another Poll Shocker – Obama Loses 2/3rds Of His Lead In One Week

and very interesting reader’s comment in the discussion:

Here’s an anecdote. I received a robo call from Rasmussen earlier this year (during the primaries). The reason I picked up the phone was because the name “Rasmussen” came up on the caller ID!! Gee, I wonder who this is? OK I’ll play. The robo call then led you through a series of questions, to which you responded by typing in a number from your phone (e.g. “on a scale of 1 – 9 please describe yourself, very liberal = 1, very conservative = 9″). You could, of course, pass yourself off as anything from Bob the rightwinger to Bob the progressive! Since you don’t talk with a live person, it would be difficult to detect mischief with this approach.

So the question is – How accurate is a “random” poll when poll-ee can refuse to answer (i.e. not pick up the phone) or, knowing who the pollster is (as in my case) can deliberately give false answers (I didn’t BTW)? The traditional measures of “margin of error” go right out the window, and the accuracy of such polls should be questioned. And I’m sure the collection techniques of other pollsters are just as bad as Rasmussen’s…

is Obama socialist?

“Now, because he knows that his economic theories don’t work, he’s been spending these last few days calling me every name in the book. Lately he’s called me a socialist for wanting to roll-back the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans so we can finally give tax relief to the middle class. I don’t know what’s next. By the end of the week he’ll be accusing me of being a secret communist because I shared my toys in kindergarten. I shared my peanut butter and jelly sandwich.” read

Such a blatant demagoguery!

#1.

if Obama shared his toys with others it is not a socialism . This is correct . However , when he starts sharing “other kids toys” with himself and with those who he thinks is entitled for “toys” it is the socialism , the big one .

#2.

He never shared his personal wealth with anybody other than racist church of Jeremiah Wright .

read this :

“What is surprising, given the recent controversy over Obama’s membership in the Trinity United Church of Christ, is how little the Obamas apparently gave to charity — well short of the biblical 10% tithe for all seven years.  In two of the years, the Obamas gave far less than 1% of their income to charity; in three of the years, they gave around 1% of their income to charity.  Only in the last two years have they given substantially more as their income skyrocketed — 4.7% in 2005 and 6.1% in 2006.  (Of course, it is possible that the Obamas may have made gifts to other worthy causes that were not deductible for federal income tax purposes.)” read

He is eager to share other people’s wealth. Reversed generosity. He is generous with other people’s money and greedy with his own.

This guy is truly amazing , he is lecturing me on generosity when I gave ( in ratio to my income) more to charity than he did?

# 3. Obama want to ‘Spread the Wealth Around’ it is undeniable . watch it . And it is undeniable socialism. No demagoguery will help to distort this fact

Palin’s daughter punished by a baby?

OK, Palin’s daughter is pregnant.
Would we know about that if she would have an abortion? We would not. So in eyes of democrats Palin ‘s daughter is “punished by a baby”
as their messiah defined that.
We need real not corrupted honest politicians and guess what? All of them are real mortal people. I would rather accept VPs daughter not planed pregnancy than I would accept my potential president who voluntarily for all life of his daughters kept them in a racist church.
Obama raised his daughters under a guidance of Jeremiah Right ! Tell me who is better parent , Palin whose daughter pregnant or Obama who raised her daughters feeding them poisonous ideas of certified racist?
Understood , they will not leave Palin alone, but at least admit that if it would be Obama’s daughter a baby would be already slaughtered without a noise to avoid a “punishment by a baby”.

Global hypocrisy versus global warming : eco tragedy could be fun and profitable

Now we know that Global warming is very entertaining phenomena:

“More than 100 musical acts – including Madonna, Metallica, Kanye West and the Police – are set to perform to raise funds and awareness in the fight against global warming. More than a million are expected to attend, and organizers are predicting live broadcasts on cable television and the Internet could reach up to 2 billion people.”

I wonder, is that kind of concert eco-friendly in the first place?

As Czech President Vaclav Klaus said the “ fighting global warming has turned into a “religion” that replaced the ideology of communism and threatens to clip basic freedoms”

Global warming indeed became an apocalyptic “voodoo-style” religion for people who know nothing about climatology or science, and, therefore are not capable to know anything about global warming on coherent level.

Consequently, “believing” in global warming became a substitute for knowing facts about future of planet’s climate. People, who by education cannot comprehend scientific meaning of concept, “believe in global warming” in the same way as others believe in Jesus Christ or in Krishna. In the meantime, it is a scientific issue and it should be neither politicized nor “Hollywoodisized“.

Is this coming event just a ritual of new religion of Global warming believers??

In any way, like in other similar actions, money collected never will reach those for whom they were collected. This event is all about money and power

Money:

Making money on scientifically ignorant, politically active people, who prefer to believe in what they cannot understand (due to the lack of education), is a no less profitable and therefore no less money driven than pumping oil.

Power:

As Alston Chase put it “When the search for truth is confused with political advocacy, the pursuit of knowledge is reduced to the quest for power”

It is narcissistic (Me and Global Warming), politically demagoguery-driven event for those who would rather sing and dance than do something useful.

By the way, according to an independent, nonprofit and nonpartisan research organization The Tennessee Center for Policy Research

“Gore’s mansion, located in the posh Belle Meade area of Nashville, consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year, according to the Nashville Electric Service (NES)….

Last August alone, Gore burned through 22,619 kWh—guzzling more than twice the electricity in one month than an average American family uses in an entire year. As a result of his energy consumption, Gore’s average monthly electric bill topped $1,359.

….In total, Gore paid nearly $30,000 in combined electricity and natural gas bills for his Nashville estate in 2006.“

read entire research

As Barbara Anderson of American Chronicle wrote “Gore received an Oscar for his film, “An Inconvenient Truth”, as the best documentary feature. Hollywood types love him. The inconvenient truth is that they arrived at the Oscars in very long air conditioned limos from their sprawling air conditioned estates, in many cases. If anybody should point this out, they could always take advantage of Gore’s convenient ploy of talking about his carbon footprint and how he mitigates his seemingly greedy consumption. The formula is a little complicated, but Gore says it is commendable and all those who can afford to pay $30,000 a year for energy can be assured that they are okay by Gore’s book.”

And now this guy wants to burn even more resources by putting himself in spotlight creating the mega concert? Does it remind you of another democratic star who is pays not even $400 as we thought before, but $1,000+ for a hair cuts and preaching helping poor in the same time, who is charging those silly people who want to know what this guy is thinking about poverty $50,000. That guy is John Edwards, if you haven’t guessed yet.

So let us summarize:

Al Gore is burning resources himself but preaching others to follow his Global Warming cult.

Another guy, John Edwards, spends more on haircuts than a whole family lives on for a week and preaches helping poor at the same time.

If it is not hypocrisy, what is it? I would really like to hear form other side any reasonable explanation.

Is Russian economy are success?what kind of policy towards Russia USA has to undertake today ? What candidate in 2008 will be capable to deal with Russia properly?

Is Russian economy are success

I am answering on very interesting posting by Dr Bulldog ( read the posting) :“In a Capitalist Democratic economy, the President is rarely responsible for the success or failure of the country’s market economy, as the citizens are the primary motivating force behind the economy (even though the politicians would have you believe otherwise when they are running for office). However, in a Totalitarian Society, by definition the Leader and his co-horts are active participants in that country’s economic gains and losses. “

I do agree with that but I think if you know that ” Putin is in the process of consolidating power in Russia” we have to keep in mind that ;

1. it is easier for ruler to manage totalitarian state than democracy so you do not have to be a genius to rule economy by totalitarian means , however it is super intellectual task to manage economy of democratic state. So I would say it is apple and oranges we cannot compare both

2. Putin was the one who managed transition from democracy to totalitarism . And it is a will of Russian people by the way to be economically safe if even democracy has to abandoned. So his economic success is a price for lost democracy. May be it is a fair price, may be he was right to do what he did but you cannot judge him on economic achievement only, you have take in consideration the price he paid for these achievement and namely making the Russia a totalitarian state one more time again

3. I am not sure that we understand each other talking about economic success . Russia is the only country in the world which

3.1. 3 times during 20th century started new state

3.2. survived 2000% ( two thousands %) inflation during last 2 decades,

3.3.declared default and still has issues with paying Russian tsar debts.

So, with taking that democracy in Russia was traded in economic prosperity ,that Russia today is a totalitarian state , that totalitarian economy is easy to manage ,is what happening economically in Russia really a success?

It is surviving but it still has economy about of half of Italian economy . With all its treasurers like oil and gas and nickel and …. many other things in the soil it still less than Italy economically???? With sacrificed democracy for the sake of order and prosperity it still what it is? I think for Russians themselves it will be humiliating to call it success.

4. The USA in part is responsible for Russian lost democracy : I think neglecting Russia after collapse of USSR was a mistake equal and similar to neglecting Afghanistan after kicking soviets out of Afghanistan. In one case we got Taliban and bin laden as liability for neglect in another we got Mr. Putin who is essentially Russian Taliban. ) In the early 90s late 80s perception of US was very favorable in Russia until “Gore/ Chernomirdin” commission under supervision of Al Gore started pump blindly money into Russian economy ( read mafia) , until US bombed Belgrade and choose to support every single anti Russian move of former Russian satellites.

I guess the right question is: knowing what we know about Russia what kind of policy towards Russia USA has to undertake today ? What candidate in 2008 will be capable to deal with Russia properly?

Bush and Putin project a united front? Too good to be true?

“President Bush and Russian President Vladimir Putin projected a united front Monday against Iran’s suspected nuclear weapons program.” (read)

Considering that according to this “when addressing All-Russia’s Conference of Public Science Professors, President Vladimir Putin cautioned against allowing to inflict the feeling of guilt on Russia”, it is hard to predict what is good relations with USA in Russian terms. However, on the record Putin “ said that democracy will be the method of Russia’s state organization,”

If indeed Russia and USA will find some common denominator in politics, it will change the world as we speak.

Alliance of Russia and USA is possible and rewarding for both sides, however, it is hard to predict how deeply anti–American sentiment corroded psyche of Russian people. Years of anti-American propaganda sponsored by the state shaped already a generation of young Russians who grew up with the idea that USA is the enemy. The input of USA in building of understanding between Russia and USA may be even less impressive. So, the question is: even if leaders want to join their efforts, are people of Russia and USA really ready for that?

Maybe both countries proved to themselves that they cannot accomplish too much one without the other?

Maybe some poor Czechoslovakia was sacrificed yesterday?

Russia is the best friend of Hamas !!We will see very soon how Hamas and Russia together will rule the world !!!

It is a common fact that Russia’s ” position on Hamas is different from that of the United States and Western Europe,” (source) at least it is what Putin said, speaking back then at the annual news conference in the Kremlin in 2006. Knowing that Putin owns Russia there is no reason do doubt that what Putin thinks is what Russia does. So, knowing that “the Russian Foreign Ministry has never regarded Hamas as a terrorist organization. ” (source) it was not a big surprise that Russians are thinking that Hamas is entitled for Russian help . Why ? Because!!!

Officially it is because these Russians are thinking that “the ‘divide and conquer policy’ is not helping to solve the conflict,” ( source )

But is it not precisely what Russia is doing ? Dividing and conquering ? Supporting terrorists in order to sell more weapons ??? Russia without war is like France without fashion . So Russians are trying to support ANY war, especially if it is any chance to kill Jews ( historically it is a very honorable activity in Russia) and to make a damage to the USA (Putin needs an enemy to maintain his dictatorship after all)

According to Russian officials they still “ recognize President Abbas and the government he has formed,” but in the same time they ” cannot ignore the fact that more than half of the seats in the legitimately elected parliament belong to Hamas.”(source)

So what? According to Russians by winning the elections Hamas got a mandate to kill Fattah?

In any way , since when Russians are so respectful to a parliament ? Russians successfully did shoot its own parliament using tanks in 1994. Today they did reverse their sympathy and they are essentially legitimizing the killing of a presidents’ people by parliament ?

Russians really have a very twisted logic : according to Russia blog ( see the source at http://www.russiablog.org/2006/02/why_putin_invites_hamas_to_mos.php ) “The Russian part of the global war that touches everyone, including Americans, never gets reported in any depth. Maybe that’s why the Westerners have a difficult time understanding why Putin has invited Hamas leaders to Moscow.”

So, help me understand, the presumable failure of Americans to recognize the input of Russians in the war on terror did force Russians ….to support terror? Very creative !!!

But you just wait, the guy just claimed that Russia owns ….”the North Pole – and all its gas, oil, and diamonds” read it !!!

Believe me it is just a beginning!!! We will see very soon how Hamas and Russia together will rule the world !!!
