McCain versus me

How McCain lost me:

#1 New York times endorsement is the real kiss off death. I will never associate myself with a person endorsed by NY times.

#2 global warming: he speaks of global warming? Let Al Gore vote for him!!!

#3 leadership versus management ? This thing is really killing me ! Anybody who has at least a slightest understanding of management can comprehend the fact that any good manager is a leader, otherwise he/she is not a manager. Since when being a manager contradicts being a leader? You want to be a leader but not a manager? Like who? Like Ayatollah? Furer? Like tribal chief?

socialism : between helplessness and fascism

Are you going to vote for one of socialist candidates from the Democratic list? Al Gore, John Edwards, Obama, Clinton, Kucinich etc?

Then keep in mind that socialism will bring you either to helplessness, as western European socialist countries are today, or to fascism/communism, as Germany and Russia were.

Socialism in western Europe was sponsored and protected by capitalism. European socialism is alive and relatively well only because capitalist USA did protect it for decades from the USSR. If USA will go socialist, who will protect the USA? France?

Self-sustainable Socialism has to be militaristic by itself. Examples : USSR and Nazi Germany. Yes, Nazi Germany was a socialist country. Those who do not believe that it was, I challenge you to read below the articles from the program of NSDAP – National Socialist German Workers Party (SOCIALIST WORKERS PARTY!!! ) and to tell which one from listed below articles are not suitable for today’s Democratic party platform.

• That all unearned income, and all income that does not arise from work, be abolished.
• The first duty of every citizen must be to work mentally or physically. No individual shall do any work that offends against the interest of the community to the benefit of all.
• Since every war imposes on the people fearful sacrifices in blood and treasure, all personal profit arising from the war must be regarded as treason to the people We therefore demand the total confiscation of all war profits.
• We demand the nationalization of all trusts.
• We demand profit-sharing in large industries
• We demand a generous increase in old-age pensions.
• We demand the creation and maintenance of a sound middle-class, the immediate communalization of large stores which will be rented cheaply to small tradespeople, and the strongest consideration must be given to ensure that small traders shall deliver the supplies needed by the State, the provinces and municipalities.
• The State has the duty to help raise the standard of national health by providing maternity welfare centers, by prohibiting juvenile labor, by increasing physical fitness through the introduction of compulsory games and gymnastics, and by the greatest possible encouragement of associations concerned with the physical education of the young.”

So, if we are going to vote socialist, we either will be helpless and defenseless like Europe today, or militaristic as Germany and Russia were yesterday (and like Russia under Putin still is).

“inconvenient truth” versus “convenient untruth”: the myth about the ” scientific consensus” on global warming.

The global warming movement became a cult with its ideologically driven disregard for real science and focused only on Gore-style convenient untruths

This is understandable because the main apocalyptic idea of global warming cult is that global warming is our apocalyptic punishment for not electing Gore in 2000 and our only redemption is if we will elect him again, otherwise we all will perish because of global warming. If it is not a politic of fear ,then what is it?

Since I posted my note on Global warming cult event, I got a few comments on other blogs that global warming is a scientific concept and that my not accepting the postulates of global warming theory means I am ignoring the science.

Nothing can be a bigger lie or ,misunderstanding than that. The scientific ignorance of global warming cult followers is is a political blessing for cult leaders.

Below is the list of recommended reading and recommended movie to all who are going to enjoy themselves on voodoo style celebration dedicated to the global warming cult:

Could you please educate yourself before enjoying the “anti global warming show”, singing dancing, smoking and drinking????

This move is a must see for all who are opening their mouths about the global warming. You will never see it on PBS

I bet none of those who are going to celebrate own political and scientific ignorance with a mega concert dedicated to Gore and Global warming saw this movie, because it is not Moore.

suggested reading :

1. global warming commentary in London Sunday Telegraph

2. Lubos Motl assistant professor, Cambridge, USA called global warming theory an hysteria. he wrote that ” This hysteria clearly doesn’t depend on science in any substantial way. If you look at these 16,800 articles, most of them are nothing else than pure crap. They offer ever crazier catastrophic predictions and ever more insane ideas how to fight with the alleged “problem” to ever less educated and ever more manipulable readers who are exerting ever more irrational pressure on the politicians. ”

3. according to Richard Lindzen of MIT said on the record all this global warming hysteria:

“Well, I think my read on it is that there is a certain climate of fear, to quote Mike Creighton. You know, for instance, Nye was talking about fresh water perhaps shutting down the Gulf Stream. But that isn’t what physical oceanographers think.

First of all, you know, we’ve measured the heat transport from the tropics to high latitudes. It’s almost all in the atmosphere. The Gulf Stream is mostly driven by wind. To shut it down, you’d have to stop the rotation of the Earth or shut off the wind.

And there’s a lot of confusion in this and, you know, at the heart of it, we’re talking of a few tenths of a degree change in temperature. None of it in the last eight years, by the way. And if we had warming, it should be accomplished by less storminess. But because the temperature itself is so unspectacular, we have developed all sorts of fear of prospect scenarios — of flooding, of plague, of increased storminess when the physics says we should see less.

I think it’s mainly just like little kids locking themselves in dark closets to see how much they can scare each other and themselves.”

4. Thanks to Professor R.M. Carter Hon. FRSNZ (Marine Geophysical Laboratory (Node C) Sporing Road South, James Cook University Townsville, Qld. 4811, AUSTRALIA ) who listed LAYING TEN GLOBAL WARMING MYTHS nobody can tell now that scientific communality did not warn you about scientific flaws of all global warming “theory”

in summary, as Alex Beam, The Globe Columnist on Boston.com put it there is a myth about the “scientific consensus” on global warming : ” Gore inveighed, more than once. Again, the same message: If you hear tales of doubt, ignore them. They are simply untrue.

I ask you: Are these convincing arguments? And directed at journalists, who are natural questioners and skeptics, of all people? What happens when you are told not to eat the apple, not to read that book, not to date that girl? Your interest is piqued, of course. What am I not supposed to know?

Here’s the kind of information the “scientific consensus” types don’t want you to read. MIT’s Alfred P. Sloan professor of meteorology Richard Lindzen recently complained about the “shrill alarmism” of Gore’s movie “An Inconvenient Truth.” Lindzen acknowledges that global warming is real, and he acknowledges that increased carbon emissions might be causing the warming — but they also might not.”

But cult members are not listening to those who go against the cult. Cult members are irrationally ( like in any cult ) are following direction of cult leader. They are ignoring everything what is not suited to their mythology . Do not break the party do not give them other science than what they like . After all they will drink, dance, smoke and sing for the sake of some global cause in any way

Global hypocrisy versus global warming : eco tragedy could be fun and profitable

Now we know that Global warming is very entertaining phenomena:

“More than 100 musical acts – including Madonna, Metallica, Kanye West and the Police – are set to perform to raise funds and awareness in the fight against global warming. More than a million are expected to attend, and organizers are predicting live broadcasts on cable television and the Internet could reach up to 2 billion people.”

I wonder, is that kind of concert eco-friendly in the first place?

As Czech President Vaclav Klaus said the “ fighting global warming has turned into a “religion” that replaced the ideology of communism and threatens to clip basic freedoms”

Global warming indeed became an apocalyptic “voodoo-style” religion for people who know nothing about climatology or science, and, therefore are not capable to know anything about global warming on coherent level.

Consequently, “believing” in global warming became a substitute for knowing facts about future of planet’s climate. People, who by education cannot comprehend scientific meaning of concept, “believe in global warming” in the same way as others believe in Jesus Christ or in Krishna. In the meantime, it is a scientific issue and it should be neither politicized nor “Hollywoodisized“.

Is this coming event just a ritual of new religion of Global warming believers??

In any way, like in other similar actions, money collected never will reach those for whom they were collected. This event is all about money and power

Money:

Making money on scientifically ignorant, politically active people, who prefer to believe in what they cannot understand (due to the lack of education), is a no less profitable and therefore no less money driven than pumping oil.

Power:

As Alston Chase put it “When the search for truth is confused with political advocacy, the pursuit of knowledge is reduced to the quest for power”

It is narcissistic (Me and Global Warming), politically demagoguery-driven event for those who would rather sing and dance than do something useful.

By the way, according to an independent, nonprofit and nonpartisan research organization The Tennessee Center for Policy Research

“Gore’s mansion, located in the posh Belle Meade area of Nashville, consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year, according to the Nashville Electric Service (NES)….

Last August alone, Gore burned through 22,619 kWh—guzzling more than twice the electricity in one month than an average American family uses in an entire year. As a result of his energy consumption, Gore’s average monthly electric bill topped $1,359.

….In total, Gore paid nearly $30,000 in combined electricity and natural gas bills for his Nashville estate in 2006.“

As Barbara Anderson of American Chronicle wrote “Gore received an Oscar for his film, “An Inconvenient Truth”, as the best documentary feature. Hollywood types love him. The inconvenient truth is that they arrived at the Oscars in very long air conditioned limos from their sprawling air conditioned estates, in many cases. If anybody should point this out, they could always take advantage of Gore’s convenient ploy of talking about his carbon footprint and how he mitigates his seemingly greedy consumption. The formula is a little complicated, but Gore says it is commendable and all those who can afford to pay $30,000 a year for energy can be assured that they are okay by Gore’s book.”

And now this guy wants to burn even more resources by putting himself in spotlight creating the mega concert? Does it remind you of another democratic star who is pays not even $400 as we thought before, but $1,000+ for a hair cuts and preaching helping poor in the same time, who is charging those silly people who want to know what this guy is thinking about poverty $50,000. That guy is John Edwards, if you haven’t guessed yet.

So let us summarize:

Al Gore is burning resources himself but preaching others to follow his Global Warming cult.

Another guy, John Edwards, spends more on haircuts than a whole family lives on for a week and preaches helping poor at the same time.

If it is not hypocrisy, what is it? I would really like to hear form other side any reasonable explanation.

Putin and Russia today

I got a wonderful comment on my previous posting by doctorbulldog and I was so interested with the article that I want to comment on it in a separate posting. I do not agree with some aspects of the posting by doctorbulldog and I am commenting below on the points which I think are different form how I see it but I definitely agree with general line of thinking by doctorbulldog:

doctorbulldog “One must unabashedly concede that Putin has accomplished a remarkable feat in revitalizing the sagging Russian economy by emendating and implementing the old school Soviet program of brinkmanship.”

2008 voter: “I would not give that much of credit to Putting for that , mostly for price of oil. If he would manage to boost Russian economy with oil $30 for barrel I would be impressed, otherwise it is more like a luck to be in right time in the right place.”

doctorbulldog “the younger generation of Russians (those who were not yet born during Soviet rule) are fanatical in their support of Putin. They have no idea of how evil he truly is, as most of the news that they listen to is extremely pro-Putin. Of course, it helps that Putin controls all of the major television news services in Russia, along with most of the radio stations. As for the newspapers, he just has the reporters mysteriously killed whenever they begin to question his policies. This is also an essential part of brinkmanship, as it enables the Kremlin to control public perception in Russia, thus maintaining governmental stability while engaging in questionable politics.”

2008 voter:Unfortunately success of this indoctrination was in large secured by American policy toward Russia during 90( or rather lack of any coherent policy) In the early 90s late 80s perception of US was very favorable in Russia until “Gore/ Chernomirdin” commission under supervision of Al Gore started pump blindly money into Russian economy ( read mafia) , until US bombed Belgrade and choose to support every single anti Russian move of former Russian satellites.

The public perception of Russia driven by “experts” and ignorant US media was grossly humiliating toward Russians and was basing on the amazingly stupid and obviously wrong perception that Russians are finished.

doctorbulldog “And, therein lies the crux of the problem. Putin controls the minds of the Russian youth through rigid regulation of the Russian media, just as Hamas is manipulating the minds of impressionable Palestinian children in preparing them for Jihad against Israel. “

2008 voter: Commonalities between Hamas and Russia are obvious this is why they such close friends. But please do not overlook the differences: Russia has no ideology today. It is essentially mafia state were AL Capone ( read Putin) first was assigned to the state ruling post and them after easy manipulations with criminal oppression of all opposition was “ elected” by those who survived his ruling before elections.

Hamas are Islamo-fascist ideologists. Putin is just a crook and he thinks as a crook. Interesting thing is that hamas in long term is a bigger danger for Russia than USA unless Putin’s crooks and ruled mass are considering Islam as a state religion in close future.
